She researched more about the qualification to find that it is flexible and brings global exposure. Over the next 2.5 years, she kept working in a focused way towards her goal, and eventually landed an internship in Mumbai. Shruti’s Approach to ACCA Preparation
She sticks to a structured way throughout her preparation, starting with finishing her lectures, then sorting out her doubts, and only after that she’d go into extra reading and practice. She also leaned on resources such as Kaplan, BPP and ACCA Study Hub which, she said, helped her sharpen her understanding and boost her results.
For her, practice mattered a lot more than you might think. Shruti made it her habit to solve every single question she could find on the CBA platform, covering practice across her papers, one by one. She would also do mock tests to judge how ready she was and to build that real exam confidence before exam day. With this whole mix of structured learning plus heavy practice, and ongoing mentor support, she ended up clearing all ACCA subjects on her very first attempt.
Learning ACCA Through Practical Examples
For Shruti, her preparation was not limited to theory and textbooks as our online ACCA classes in Mumbai focused on connecting concepts with practical, real-world situations. And not only that, Pushkar Sir even guided her on how to pick the right company, he helped polish her resume, and he coached her on how to approach her career after the qualification. For Shruti, this ongoing support made her journey feel more organized, and it helped her shift from exam preparation into her professional career in a confident way.
From ACCA Affiliate to Starting Her Career in Mumbai
After 2.5 years of focused preparation, Shruti completed her qualification and became an ACCA Affiliate. Clearing all 13 papers on her first attempt was a major milestone, but for her, it was also the beginning of the next stage of her career.
Shruti had completed a six-month internship in Nashik to gain an initial understanding of the professional environment. She has now relocated to Mumbai and recently joined Anisha Associates, where she has started her professional journey. As she settles into her new role, she is already able to connect concepts from her classes with real situations at work. She plans to gain the required practical experience and progress towards becoming an ACCA member.
Shruti’s Advice to Aspiring ACCA Students
For students planning to pursue ACCA, Shruti’s journey highlights the importance of consistency and regular practice.
